Part of living in pleasure is learning the art of conjuring your desires, according to Mama Gena, author of “Mama Gena’s School of Womanly Arts.”  This of course applies to men as well! 

For me, there are 2 key pieces to successful conjuring that are often challenging, or forgotten altogether

• Enjoying the process of conjuring by enjoying however long it takes to acquire your desire.  This means learning to enjoy the anticipation of your desire with confidence that it will come, in the perfect timing.  And not being afraid to allow yourself to want your desire, without becoming so attached to the outcome that you begin to take yourself too seriously.

• Being open to every single opportunity the universe brings you, which can be so difficult sometimes.  Deciding that whatever comes is coming for a reason.  Being open to “this or something better” in the pursuit of your desire.

Right now I have clarity that I am conjuring doubling the size of the Nia community in the Tri-Cities.  I am clear that I want this, and I have decided that I am going to have fun co-creating it with the universe. I think it looks like me teaching classes at studios and gyms in Midland, Bay City, and Saginaw, but I am learning to be open to it looking differently. For instance, I have been recently approached about teaching Nia to a Girl Scout troop – hmmm, hadn’t considered that.

Can I be open to that, and other possibilities, or am I too focused on my desire looking a certain way?

To learn to live right on the edge, between desiring and allowing, is the ultimate paradox of a pleasurable life.

What is it that YOU desire?  What is it that you are willing to want for yourself and place faith in the universe to manifest for you?  What would you write down on paper if you were in the circle of Sister Goddesses at the Pleasure Bootcamp Retreat next weekend?  Because whatever it is will inevitably be yours, and we can be there to empower your desires and stand for what you want to conjure next in your life.
