My Favorite Wellness Products of 2010

Okay, so this is Oprah’s last season – someone has to fill the role of going out and finding the coolest, greatest stuff.  That’s not me, actually, but I was just thinking that I have come across quite a few truly special products this year.  And, since gift giving is my Love Language, I am a connoisseur of great gifts. Maybe these will inspire your gift giving this holiday season.  Or even better, spend real quality time with those you love AND give them a gift!

Spa Ritual Nail Polish

It comes in fantastic colors, stays on like glue, and even has inspiration in the color names and description.  Above, my fave “Solitude” which is for the achiever…  You can purchase it online at DermStore for $10 each, including free shipping. Or, you can book (or gift) a pedicure with Renee at Renee Hair Artistry in Midland and have it applied to your toes!

Ruval Luxury Linens

I am on an eternal quest for the softest, most luxurious sheets I can find.  These are used at spas worldwide, come in a variety of colors and are not measured by thread count.  By far the softest sheets I have ever slept on, and miraculously get softer each time I wash them (DON’T use fabric softener or dryer sheets on them, though).  Go online to their Facebook page for a coupon for $5 off their rather steep but worth it $150 price tag.

Pacifica Candles

I discovered these while living in California. They are soy candles in a safe container with the most complex and unique fragrances I’ve found.  No artificial scents like cinnamon buns, etc.  Just an amazing assortment of signature scents that I’ve yet to find replacements for.  I like the 5.5oz size, as it’s not too expensive ($16), and last just long enough for me to be ready for a different scent.  Visit their online store to buy or find a local retailer near you.

Chi Organics Olive Room Spray

This is the spray I use before each of my classes to revitalize and clear the space. A blend of not too hot or cold energies based on Lemon Balm, this spray transforms energy, bringing tranquility and peace. Energizing and yet calming at the same time. You can purchase it locally in the Tri-Cities at Renee Hair Artistry for about $10, or online at Erryns Health and Beauty for $15.

Earth to Skin Heel-Tastic Balm

This balm has changed my feet forever. Being barefoot much of the time, and not liking dry feet, this product softens skin on the feet without exfoliation.  Just rub it on and dance!  Smells great too.  I purchased mine locally at Sally Beauty Supply for $7, but you can order it online at Walgreens.com.

Have you discovered any great wellness products this year?  If so, please share by leaving a comment - we could all use a little inspiration!
